After injuring someone in his hometown, Ham Da-gi (played by Choi Sung-hyun) flees to Gangnam to seek refuge with his acquaintance, Brother Charlie. Through Charlie's introduction, Da-gi secures a job under President Go of the Ga Jang gambling house. With his innate skills as a con artist, handsome looks, and sharp tongue, Da-gi quickly becomes President Go's most valued subordinate. During this time, he meets the beautiful woman Yoo Ji-yeon (played by Lee Ho-nee) but puts himself in danger while helping her escape a trap set by President Go. Shortly after, he reunites with his first love, Seo Mi-na (played by Shin Se-kyung), who arrives with his poker friend, Jang Dong-sik, and ends up facing the most painful defeat of his life in a gambling game. After falling from grace, Da-gi, with Mi-na's help, escapes from the turbulent waters of Gangnam and encounters a master con artist who is living incognito (played by Ryu Seung-soo) along the way.
