It is said that loyalty and trust are important bonds for maintaining marriage, but Ludvik (played by Bolek Polívka) thinks this is nonsense. In his view of marriage, infidelity and affairs not only increase the fun in marriage but also create a sense of crisis for his wife, making their relationship more passionate due to this crisis. Whether it's coincidence or luck, Ludvik, who adheres to this set of "twisted logic," has always had a happy marriage, which makes him even more convinced that he is right. Ludvik's daughter Alice (played by Petra Hrebícková) is about to marry a man named Andrew (played by Jirí Machácek), and to Ludvik's disappointment, Andrew intends to be a "model husband" in the eyes of ordinary people. Anxious, Ludvik decides to take matters into his own hands with his daughter, hoping Alice can learn from him the way to maintain a marriage.
