Midori (played by Akiko Kikuchi) and Nao (played by Ayumu Nakajima) have been a couple for four years. One is lively, cheerful, and free-spirited, while the other is quiet, introverted, and reserved. Many people find it hard to understand how they have been in love for so long. Due to work, Nao has to travel to India for three months, and the loneliness of being in a foreign land makes him miss Midori dearly. However, whenever Nao enthusiastically sends multiple letters to Midori, he receives only cold responses, which leaves him feeling quite unsettled. As time passes, their communication dwindles.
