Nine-year-old boy Michel (Giuseppe Cristiano) accidentally discovers a secret in an underground cave while playing one day. He is shocked to find a blonde boy named Filippo (Mattia Di Pierro), who is around his age, imprisoned in the cave, locked up with iron shackles, weak and helpless.
