Nominated for Best Film at the 2015 Hamburg Film Festival, directed by Stefan Rieck, who was previously nominated for the Golden Goblet Award at the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival for "Double Crime." This new work has no relation to Pink Floyd's album "The Dark Side of The Moon," but is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Martin Suter, described as "Switzerland's most successful contemporary writer." The protagonist, Moritz Bleibtreu, is familiar to many from works like "Run Lola Run" and "The Experiment." The story portrays a legal elite, played by him, whose life spirals out of control due to an adventure involving toxic mushrooms... The director is particularly skilled at creating atmosphere, using shaky camerawork and hallucinatory perspectives to immerse the audience in an unknown fear alongside the protagonist.
