The story begins with the protagonist, Naoki Satomura (Kento Yamazaki), who lives in Hokkaido, meeting the high school piano tuner, Souichiro Itadori (Tomokazu Miura). After Itadori tunes the piano, Satomura seems to sense the breath of the forest in its sound, which draws him into this world of work and piano tuning, leading him to start working at the instrument shop where Itadori is. Among the people connected through the piano, he also meets high school piano sisters, Koto and Yori... This is a story about a young piano tuner who grows after experiencing troubles, confusion, and setbacks.
