Underworld boss Bao (played by Xu Ke) is violent, yet has a slow-witted, kind-hearted younger brother, Xiong (played by Zeng Zhiwei), who is always at his side. When Xiong's girlfriend is taken away, he insists Bao step in to handle it. As Bao is about to serve a six-month sentence, he entrusts Xiong with taking care of his old mistress Ping (played by Li Dianlang) and his young lover Mimi (played by Li Lizhen). When Xiong first meets Ping, she asserts her dominance, and he gets caught up in her conflicts with a loan shark gang. After they escape, they rush to Japan to find Mimi, only to discover her situation is also quite precarious. Xiong struggles to help the two women escape while also deceiving them to prevent them from discovering each other's identities. After the three return to Hong Kong, things finally unravel, and Ping's emotional outburst is silenced by Bao. During the days waiting for Bao's release, a romantic bond develops between Xiong and Mimi, but how to face his older brother becomes an insurmountable dilemma for Xiong...
