This film primarily tells a pure Hong Kong police and criminal story centered around racing. Chen Xiang (played by Yu Wenle) is a new member of the police force's elite "Invisible Car Team," young and hot-blooded, pursuing targets in a disguised police car while hidden on the road. Jiang Xin (played by Guo Xiaodong) is a "driver" who assists robbers in their escape, dominating the racing scene with his unique "8000 RPM, 2 mph" perpendicular drifting technique, having never failed since his debut. Retired police officer Lu Feng (played by Anthony Wong) is timid and conservative; as Chen Xiang's partner, their missions often end in conflict. Years ago, Lu was psychologically scarred from an encounter with Jiang Xin. Now, as Jiang Xin returns to commit crimes, Chen Xiang nearly faces disaster in a narrow alley. To save Chen Xiang, Lu Feng drives the "Invisible War Car" once more to battle the criminal. An intense, life-and-death police versus criminal racing showdown is about to unfold.
