Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) are two best friends who grew up together in Manhattan. One day during their childhood, they witnessed a dream wedding at the Holiday Inn on Fifth Avenue, planting the seed of their own wedding dreams in their hearts. Fast forward over twenty years, Liv has become a successful lawyer, while Emma teaches at a school, and both have found love.
