"Late Autumn" is adapted from the 1966 film of the same name directed by Lee Man-hee. Set in Seattle, USA, it tells the love story of a man and a woman in a foreign land. Anna (Wei Tang) is serving a prison sentence and receives a three-day leave due to her mother's death, marking her first return home in seven years. On a long bus ride, she meets Hoon (Bin Hyeon), who borrows money from Anna by pawning his watch due to a lack of fare, agreeing to meet again in Seattle. One is a female convict on parole for murdering her husband, and the other is a con artist who specializes in taking advantage of women. These two strangers, who conceal their true identities, begin to develop feelings for each other during their brief encounter, and in just three days, they embark on a romantic relationship.
