Old Zhang (Guan Haishan) has opened a seaside PUB and lives a simple and happy life with his daughter A Li (Wang Zuxian) and his partner A Lie (Zhong Zhentao), who are also a couple. One day, Old Zhang is approached by an old partner, forcing him to return to the underworld. However, things take a turn when A Lie, whom he brings along as a driver, becomes a murderer. Old Zhang is caught while trying to smuggle A Li and A Lie, and to save him, A Li agrees to work for the gang leader Shenye (Chen Huimin), deceiving A Lie into going to the Philippines first.
Six years later, A Lie has become a renowned killer in the Philippines, while A Li adopts a big sister demeanor, surrounded by her loyal underling A Xiang (Liang Chaowei). Shenye learns that his former partner is set to testify against him in court and sends someone to kill that person. That hitman turns out to be A Lie. During the mission, A Lie unintentionally reunites with A Li. Even though he has not forgotten her over the past six years, A Lie remains indifferent. Time cannot defeat love, and after discovering the truth about the events from years ago, A Lie reaches for A Li's hand once more, always missing her.
However, their reunion is witnessed by Shenye's underling, the scheming Liao Ge (Liu Jiahui), who has long wanted to take advantage of A Li. When A Li is packing, the sinister Liao Ge appears, but the timely arrival of A Xiang shatters his dreams. Yet, this also alerts Shenye.
