At a party, she meets a female poet, Marianne, through a client; and later, through another friend, she meets a middle-aged divorced man named Albert (James Gandolfini). Initially, she doesn't have a fondness for the overweight Albert, but after their first date, she finds certain aspects of him quite attractive, and they quickly establish a relationship. Meanwhile, the poet Marianne also becomes Eva's client, frequently coming over for massages, and they become close friends. Marianne shares all the shortcomings of her ex-husband with Eva, and Eva discovers that Marianne’s ex-husband is actually her boyfriend, Albert! She begins to notice more and more flaws in Albert, and she wonders how to maintain her relationship with him?
