Schneider (played by Tom De Wispelaere) is a hitman, and today is his birthday. He promised his wife he would stay home to prepare dinner with her. At that moment, Schneider receives a phone call from his boss, Merkens (played by Gene Bervoets), who assigns him to kill a man named Bax (played by Alex van Warmerdam). For the experienced Schneider, this is an easy job, and if time permits, he could even make it back home for lunch after completing the task. Bax lives in a lakeside cabin surrounded by reeds, relying on alcohol and drugs to numb himself. As usual, he wakes up groggy and receives a visit from his daughter, Franciska (played by Maria Kraakman). Although Bax and his daughter have never had a good relationship, he is actually looking forward to this meeting. Unbeknownst to Bax, in addition to Franciska, there will be another unwelcome guest today.
