Fat and plump Ah Xiang (played by Zheng Zeshi) is the owner of a gas store. He is kind-hearted, optimistic, and generous, with a beautiful wife and a lovely daughter, leading a happy and fulfilled life. One day, on his way home, he discovers that his wife is having an affair. Although Ah Xiang is very angry, he suffers in silence due to his temperament. He goes to a bar to drown his sorrows in alcohol and vents to the dancer Fanny (played by Kwan Hung Ho), which leads to him, in a drunken state, hiring a Vietnamese gang to kill the adulterous couple. The next day, when Ah Xiang wakes up from his drunken stupor and returns home, he has already forgotten about hiring the hitmen and watches helplessly as his wife and her lover are murdered. Ah Xiang's nightmare does not end there; he also faces the high ransom demanded by the Vietnamese gang. In a desperate situation, Ah Xiang escapes to Guangzhou, where he encounters the ruthless Wu Shu (played by Ren Dahua). Wu Shu agrees to help Ah Xiang deal with the Vietnamese gang, but this action leads Ah Xiang's life down a path of no return...
