A youth knows not the taste of sorrow. In a certain redwood forest, an outdoor music festival is taking place, with young men and women gathering together to laugh and sing, lost in a dream-like state. A group of hippies secretly infiltrates the depths of the forest, planning to hold a weekend rager themed around heroin and marijuana. Their raucous noise awakens an elderly woman living in the woods, and this woman, wearing a Reagan mask, embarks on a bloody chase after the hippies… This film is part of Dark Films' “8 Movies That Will Scare You to Death” series, rated R by the MPAA for its elements of drugs, violence, and blood. The film's title, Tripper, is a play on Reagan's nickname, Gipper. The release date is April 20, a reference to marijuana.
