In the bloody turmoil between Shanghai gangs in the 1930s, two boys under 15, Nie Fei and Qiu Feng, are on a train smuggling to Shanghai, budgeting how to make money there. Suddenly, a group of fighters rushes in and injures Nie Fei. A man named Long Ye sees this and decides to take care of the two. Before long, they grow up and are sent by Long Ye to watch over a territory.
