The story's protagonist is a silent lone assassin (Isaach De Bankolé), who always orders two cups of coffee, practices Tai Chi when bored, and is unmoved by any temptation. One day, he accepts a mysterious mission and sets off for Madrid, Spain. Here, he must make a series of linear contacts, and the proof of contact is a red or green matchbox. Among these contacts are a cautious but music-loving middle-aged man (Luis Tosar), a stylish white-clad woman who loves films (Tilda Swinton), an old man enamored with Bohemian culture (John Hurt), and a mysterious Eastern woman obsessed with molecular science (Yūki Kudō). Following their guidance, the assassin gets closer to his target...
