In the late 19th century, Thailand began to extensively cultivate farmland to export more rice, making oxen the most important labor force, thus giving rise to a new profession—the cowboy. These cowboys made a fortune from the price differences in buying and selling cattle. However, recently, a masked man known as the Fire Cloud Thief has been robbing cowboys. This individual possesses exceptional martial arts skills and shares the stolen cattle with impoverished farmers, gaining a positive reputation among the common people, while the cowboys fear him greatly. Noble descendant Sirigorn imported land cultivation machines from England, but their high prices made them inaccessible to farmers. To sell the machines for profit, Sirigorn hired a group of people to kill cowboys and sell the cattle to slaughterhouses, ensuring that farmers would have to spend money to buy the cultivation machines. In this way, cowboys not only had to be wary of the Fire Cloud Thief stealing their cattle but also of Sirigorn, who could end their lives at any moment—truly a miserable situation. During one of his attempts to rob cowboys, the Fire Cloud Thief discovered that Sirigorn's undefeated subordinates were defeated by a cowboy leader named Lion, whose chest tattoo caught his attention. Many years ago, a cowboy with the same tattoo had killed the Fire Cloud Thief's parents and stolen their cattle. The Fire Cloud Thief harbored a loathing for cowboys and had been robbing them to share with the common folk. For years, he had been searching for the murderer of his parents, and today he finally found him. However, Lion's skills surpassed those of the Fire Cloud Thief, and he was also proficient in magic, making the Fire Cloud Thief no match for him. Just then, Sirigorn sent his men to find the Fire Cloud Thief and claimed that someone could help him. The Fire Cloud Thief followed Sirigorn to a remote countryside where he met a mysterious cannibal. The cannibal revealed that he had been living a life worse than death for many years due to being harmed by Lion and unable to seek revenge in sunlight. With the Fire Cloud Thief's arrival, the cannibal could teach him how to defeat Lion: by using the menstrual blood of a woman who was a natural enemy to Lion, which would cause Lion to lose his magical powers. The cannibal's daughter, Ali, was the perfect candidate. Thus, the Fire Cloud Thief stayed at the cannibal’s house, waiting for the opportunity to take revenge on Lion, while developing feelings for Ali. However, to fulfill his revenge, the Fire Cloud Thief had to temporarily set aside his romantic feelings and reluctantly bid farewell to Ali to seek out Lion's whereabouts. Sure enough, when the Fire Cloud Thief applied the menstrual blood on Lion, he lost all his magical powers. At that moment, Sirigorn and the cannibal also arrived to assist the Fire Cloud Thief in dealing with Lion. However, as Lion lay dying, the truth he revealed frustrated the Fire Cloud Thief: the cannibal was originally named Ahei, and he had trained in magic alongside Lion. Lion had discovered Ahei's evil intentions, and on the day Ahei killed the Fire Cloud Thief's parents, he had severed ties with Ahei and cast a spell on him to never see sunlight again. After that, Lion had delivered the unconscious Fire Cloud Thief to a temple, leaving behind a string of prayer beads as a token for future recognition. Remembering the prayer beads given to him by the monk, the Fire Cloud Thief realized he had been deceived. Furthermore, the cannibal, unable to hide his joy, inadvertently revealed that Ali was not his daughter, but rather a girl he had raised to be his wife. With new grievances and old grudges, the Fire Cloud Thief engaged in a deadly fight with the cannibal. Before his death, Lion transferred all his magical powers to the Fire Cloud Thief to aid him. Ultimately, justice triumphed over evil; the Fire Cloud Thief avenged his parents and his savior, then fled with Ali to start a new life.
