A pair of "siblings" immigrate to Europe, working together to face difficulties and challenges. Tori, a young boy from Benin (played by Pablo Schils), and Lokita, a Cameroonian girl (played by Mbundu Joli), leave Africa for Belgium, hoping to start a new life. Alone and unprotected, the two struggle to make a living due to their undocumented status, drifting between shelters, the black market, and restaurants. Even so, despite their youth, they do everything they can to survive in an unfamiliar environment, facing various challenges in their new life together, becoming family to one another. They firmly believe that their unbreakable friendship will eventually triumph over the hardships of exile. However, Lokita is detained due to issues with her documents and forced to work on a plantation. The daily oppression, combined with their separation, causes the situation to spiral out of control. The film uses fewer than 100 shots to present a more dramatic and thrilling story compared to the Dardennes' previous works. The simple performances of the debut actors add significant value. It won the "Cannes 75th Anniversary" award at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
