The story follows former heroin addict Daniel Legg’s involvement in a drug deal, providing help for the wrong reasons to the wrong people. When the deal goes wrong, Daniel is thrown into a Thai prison and sentenced to 100 years. While trying to survive his imprisonment in Bangkok, news of his conviction catches the attention of Globe and Mail reporter Victor Malarek, who decides to track down the shady undercover cop responsible for wrongly accusing Daniel.
