Adapted from the Dutch novel "Tonyo's Requiem," it tells the story of the only son of the famous Dutch writer Ferdinand Heijden, Tonyo, who is struck by a car while riding his bicycle on the streets of Amsterdam on Pentecost Sunday. At just 21 years old, he unfortunately passes away due to severe injuries. His parents are heartbroken and deeply affected.
