Young Ah Ben (played by Leung Hon-man) attempts to find the most famous assassin, Wolf Warrior, through the internet, and finally gets introduced to Wolf Warrior's partner, Uncle Wai (played by Wong Cho-lam). In front of the sleeping Wolf Warrior, Uncle Wai tells Ah Ben about their youth - during a time of war, an amnesiac stranger, Feng Wenxuan (played by Donnie Yen), enters the small village where Ah Wei lives. Ah Wei guides Feng Wenxuan, but they encounter mountain bandits along the way, and Feng Wenxuan unleashes a killing spree that impresses Ah Wei, who decides to become his disciple. The bandits, unwilling to give up, continuously chase Feng Wenxuan. When Feng Wenxuan is gravely injured, he reunites with his former lover, Hui Yi (played by Kristy Yang), due to Ah Wei. Feng Wenxuan regains his lost memory and discovers that he was once a member of the bandits, and the increasingly brutal killings put him and his lover in grave danger... After hearing their story, Ah Ben remains resolute in his intentions and reveals his true purpose for searching for Feng Wenxuan...
