This film is China's first comedy movie that reflects the various aspects of WeChat Moments and the phenomenon of internet celebrities, advocating for "World No Mobile Day" and rejecting the "lowered-head tribe." Li Cheng is honest and earnest, willing to give up everything for family and love; Yu Hua is eager for quick success, vanity and impetuousness drive him to do anything for fame and fortune. The two are childhood friends. In the summer of 1997, Li Cheng borrowed a big man's mobile phone to return a page to his girlfriend and accidentally dropped it. The big man, extremely angry, picked up the phone and threw it at Li Cheng's head, leaving him in a coma and amnesia for nearly twenty years. After recovering, Li Cheng finds himself in a world where information is highly developed, completely unaware of WeChat Moments, WeChat red envelopes, and feeling out of place in modern society, resulting in numerous humorous situations. Li Cheng is determined to find his long-lost girlfriend, Zhang Li, but with no success. Following Yu Hua's suggestion, the two start a "Hua Cheng Internet Celebrity Planning Company." According to Yu Hua, the main purpose of opening this company is to make Li Cheng a social media sensation so that Zhang Li can find him; in reality, Yu Hua just wants to become an internet celebrity himself for fame and fortune. Shortly after the company opens, an astonishing coincidence occurs: the big man who injured Li Cheng with the mobile phone all those years ago becomes the company's major client, wanting to spend 1 million yuan to make his daughter an internet celebrity. Meanwhile, two thieves who had once stolen Li Cheng and Yu Hua's phones bizarrely become employees of the company, determined to shift to "Moments fraud." The plot thickens as these two thieves turn their fake act into reality, successfully conning the big man out of 1 million yuan using the internet celebrity company's platform. Furious, the big man gives Yu Hua and Li Cheng an "ultimatum," threatening to cut off their hands. In this desperate situation, the pure-hearted and simple Li Cheng mobilizes his friends from his Moments to successfully hold the "Moments Annual Ceremony," not only fulfilling the big man's "ultimatum" but also unexpectedly becoming a super popular internet celebrity. Furthermore, he promotes "World No Mobile Day," with many places responding to the call to "refuse to be part of the 'lowered-head tribe'! May happiness always be with you!"
