Yuko is a documentary director who leads a production team to conduct a multi-faceted investigation into the suicide of a bullied female student that occurred three years ago, filming around several families who have lost loved ones. She is determined to restore the events leading up to the tragedy, even at the cost of clashing with the conservative management of the television station, and successfully gains the trust of her interviewees. However, she discovers that her father, who runs a tutoring school, has committed a serious mistake. This provides her with a new perspective, adding depth to her documentary, which even earns praise from producers and the station. Yet, unforeseen events follow, leading Yuko to lose her balance between truth and lies, forcing her to make a life-changing decision.
