Colette (played by Vanessa Paradis) is a young prostitute who has just entered the industry, still maintaining her naive and innocent heart, as well as her kind nature. One day, Colette's friend finds her and hopes that she can locate and take in her child, Billy (played by Vincent Rottiers). Although the responsibility of raising a child feels a bit too heavy for Colette, she has her own plans regarding Billy. Thus, Colette and Billy begin their cohabitation, and reality turns out to be more complicated than Colette imagined. Billy has just entered his rebellious teenage years, which is a time when he tends to go against the grain, leading to constant arguments between the two over various trivial matters. Furthermore, there is also a different kind of sentiment flowing between Billy and Colette.
