In bustling Tokyo, a dispatch teacher named Nanami Mikagawa (played by Hana Kuroki), who seems to have no opinions about life, goes online and meets fellow teacher Tetsuya Tsurigoe (played by Goichi Jiki), eventually marrying him. To avoid a shabby wedding, she asks an online friend, Akamuro Yukumatsu (played by Go Ayano), who does various odd jobs, to hire fake friends and family. Shortly after the marriage, Nanami learns of her husband’s infidelity, and it seems she also falls into some trap, getting kicked out of her home by her mother-in-law. Alone and desperate, she is later introduced by Akamuro to pretend to be friends and family at other people's weddings for money, where she meets a girl named Mashiro Rinan (played by Cocco), who seems almost like a fairy. Before long, Akamuro brings her a well-paying job, and Nanami ends up in a villa in the suburbs working as a maid, where she unexpectedly reunites with Mashiro... The film was ranked sixth in the top ten films by "Eiga Shunju" in 2016. Shunji Iwai also edited and adapted the film into a six-part mini-series for television.
