In 1978, Bao Zhenjiang graduated from the Henan Opera School, and the graduation performance was "Bao Longtu." Just before the graduation show, his best friend Jin Hong injured his leg and couldn’t perform. Forty years later, Bao Zhenjiang and Li Yixiang set off for America, singing "Bao Longtu" together with their classmates from the opera school at Times Square in the U.S. Chen Shan makes a living running a family-owned beef soup shop. The shop is small, with only two assistants, located deep in a narrow alley. Most customers are locals from the surrounding area. The beef soup is authentic and very popular among customers. Chen Shan has a deep rift with his son, Chen Qingfeng, and during the son's visit home to commemorate the third anniversary of his mother's passing, their conflict finally erupts. Due to Typhoon "Mangkhut," high-speed trains to Guangzhou were canceled. 30-year-old single planner and designer Zhang Ming is stranded in Zhengzhou, the city where he is on a business trip, and unexpectedly encounters a romance.
