A speeding ambulance brings in an elderly woman in critical condition. Her beautiful granddaughter, Olika (Antonia Santilli), rushes to the hospital. Before passing away, the elderly woman reveals a huge secret to her granddaughter: a box of jewels was buried in Russia many years ago. This secret is overheard by Mabiotso (Tano Cimarosa), who is waiting in the hospital for his wife to give birth, Antonio (Alighiero Noschese), the ambulance driver, and Bigeri (Ninetto Davoli), a man with a broken leg. They all decide to board a plane to Russia for a treasure hunt. On the plane, they unexpectedly meet each other; Mabiotso steals the doctor's passport and shoves it into the toilet, but the passport floats out of the window and sticks to the outside. In a panic, he kicks the glass, causing the unsealed plane to lose control, and he gets stuck in the window. The handsome tour guide, Vasiliev (Andrei Mironov), comes to greet them, and everyone splits up, leading to a series of funny and ridiculous events. The doctor, without a passport, has to fly around on the plane, while the tour guide and two ambulance drivers speed after Olika. Vasiliev and Olika develop feelings for each other during the treasure hunt; however, Olika accidentally learns that he is a police officer sent by the Cultural Heritage Bureau...
