Jiang Dayang, the chairman of Yuancheng Group, decides to leave his inheritance to his estranged daughter upon discovering he has late-stage cancer, and reveals this news to his family friend Uncle Gang (played by Zhang Shaogang), only to encounter life-threatening consequences. The unexpected death of her father hits Jiang Xin (played by Peng Gaochang) hard.
