After experiencing a Halloween massacre in high school, Cindy (played by Anna Faris) and her friends enter college. The carefree life of college allows them to gradually forget the terrifying events of Halloween. Professor Oldman (played by Tim Curry), who is passionate about the supernatural, plans to conduct an experiment at the haunted house where horrific events occurred a year ago, needing people with near-death experiences to serve as mediums for communicating with the supernatural.
