Zhang Liguo (played by Cheng Wukang) is a standard artistic youth whose lifelong dream is to become a comic writer. However, burdened by reality, he can only work in an advertising company to support his family. Eventually, Zhang Liguo realizes that dreams must be actively pursued; if one passively waits, ideals are doomed to remain unachieved. Thus, he resigns from his job.
