Synopsis Monster Shark Plot summary: Two tourists fishing at sea suddenly come under attack from a massive underwater monster, resulting in one person's death, with their entire lower body devoured. When scientists examine the bite marks on the body, they discover that these marks can only belong to an incredibly vicious ancient predator, which went extinct millions of years ago! Similar monster attack incidents keep occurring, plunging the seaside residents into panic. An investigation reveals that a certain scientist has combined the intelligence of dolphins, the strength of octopuses, and the ferocious nature of ancient predators into one large fish, transforming it into a terrifying underwater monster... (Even without the introduction, people should recognize this film, the debut work of Lamberto Bava, one of the few horror films introduced by CCTV in its early days, a hugely popular release in the Zhengda Theater, though it isn't as well-known as Black Heritage...) The film is a Franco-Italian co-production, originally titled Shark rosso'nelloceano, and was renamed Monster Shark upon its introduction to the United States.
