In the bustling metropolis of New York City, the evil leader Shredder leads the Foot Clan in causing chaos and crime throughout the city. Eric Sachs, the owner of a security company (played by William Fichtner), introduces the latest security system, vowing to maintain peace in the city. Channel 6 reporter April O'Neil (played by Megan Fox) accidentally captures footage of the Foot Clan being thwarted by four mysterious heroes. When she faces a second extraordinary event, she is shocked to discover that the four heroes are actually mutated turtles: Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Donatello. The name Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brings back childhood memories for April, as her father was once a research partner of Sachs studying biological mutations. She informs Sachs of this news, but after meeting the Ninja Turtles and their mentor Splinter, she realizes that Sachs and Shredder are the true sources of evil in the city… This film is adapted from the classic comic of the same name.
