Outside the cold, bloody, and precisely terrifying cube, the two guardians, Eric Wayne (played by Zachary Bennett) and Dodd (played by David Huband), are bored with their work, occasionally glancing at the actions of the trapped individuals on the screen. This time, the beautiful and capable mother Cassandra Ryans (played by Stephanie Moore) and her daughter Anna are attacked in the woods. When she wakes up, she finds that she has lost part of her memory and is in an isolated, sealed-off space. She manages to find four other trapped strangers and collaborates with them to plan an escape, only to discover that the facility is fraught with danger, and a moment of inattention could lead to death. Meanwhile, Eric gradually develops sympathy for the trapped individuals; he seems to be trying to sabotage this conspiracy-laden killing machine… The film won the Best Special Effects Award at the 2004 New York Horror Film Festival and Best Makeup and Best Special Effects at the 2004 Scream Film Festival.
