Jordan, 1967. The world is changing dramatically: a scramble for energy, new trends, new music, and a spreading anticipation for the future. In Jordan, different changes are quietly occurring: thousands of Palestinian refugees are crossing the border into Jordan seeking asylum. 11-year-old Tarek is in the refugee queue with his mother, while his father has been forced to separate from the family due to the conflict. They are placed in the activity tents of a refugee camp alongside the previous generation of refugees who have fled here since 1948, waiting for the day they can return home. The living conditions in the refugee camp are dire, and Tarek, longing to reunite with his father, dreams of leaving the camp and begins to see hope. His yearning for freedom and curious nature lead him and a group of like-minded individuals on a journey that will change their destinies.
