Frida (played by Salma Hayek) is a renowned Mexican painter. Before the age of 18, she was a happy and lively girl, enjoying the sweetness of love like everyone else. However, a car accident at 18 left her severely injured, and after a narrow escape from death, she was accompanied by pain for the rest of her life. Her first love also left her. During her 18 months in bed, she kept company with her paintings, which were filled with incredible vitality and passion. It was then that she began to consider selling her art to support herself, seeking guidance from the painter Rivera, who praised her talent. They eventually transitioned from teacher and student to lifelong partners and got married. After marriage, they experienced the most tumultuous revolutionary period in Mexico, fervently following the footsteps of communism and even welcoming Trotsky with enthusiasm after he was expelled from the Soviet Union by Stalin, undeterred by the risks. Frida's ambiguous romance with Trotsky and her lesbian affairs made her love life equally vibrant. In 1954, Frida left this world filled with pain, but may her departure be fortunate.
