A wild youth named Ah Xu (played by Chen Jia Le) wanders in the city and meets a lonely old woman, Aunt Fen (played by Hui Ying Hong), because of a box of eggs. After facing work failures and living in hardship, Ah Xu, with nowhere to go, uses a "trick" to move into Aunt Fen’s old house, and the two completely unrelated people become temporary roommates. However, living under the same roof, the two individuals, each with their own views of the world, cannot find peace. The quirky Aunt Fen establishes rules that the young and reckless Ah Xu finds hard to accept. From mutual restraint to understanding each other, and from indifference to care, their friction gradually becomes the best way to understand one another. In the cold city, searching for warm companionship, the appearance of the other has made each of them feel like a lucky person.
