Niccolo (Tomas Milian) is a film director who偶然 encounters a girl named MaVi (Daniela Silverio), and the two quickly become close. One day, MaVi goes missing for no apparent reason, which confuses Niccolo, prompting him to embark on a journey to find her. Along the way, Niccolo meets Ida (Christine Boisson), to whom he shares his story with MaVi, sparking her curiosity. With Ida's help, Niccolo eventually discovers MaVi's address, but he finds that the reunion is not as warm as he hoped. Niccolo ends up marrying Ida, and during their honeymoon, she reveals to her husband that she is pregnant, but the child is not Niccolo's.
