Janis (played by Penélope Cruz) discovers unexpectedly that she is pregnant in her middle age. Although this child comes as a surprise and is outside of Janis's life plan, she joyfully embraces the arrival of this tender new life. Another woman, named Ana (played by Milena Smit), finds herself in a similar situation, but unlike Janis, Ana struggles to accept this turn in her life. The pregnancy brings her not only physical changes but also anxiety and fear. Two vastly different women, guided by destiny, end up sharing the same hospital room. In the long hospital corridors, their figures can often be seen conversing together. Two women, two mothers, two fates intertwined in this time and space.
