Truth (played by Akiko Kikuchi) returns to her long-lost hometown, where she reunites with her ex-boyfriend, Aji (played by Hiroyuki Kobayashi). Truth tells Aji that she has decided to open a shaved ice shop here, which leaves Aji feeling quite puzzled. Once a stage art worker, Truth was very passionate about her career. What made her give up her former dream? With great determination, Truth quickly begins the renovation of the shop. On this day, a girl named Koha (played by Azusa Mikune) comes to Truth's side. Koha's mother and Truth's mother were good friends in college. Koha's face was severely burned in an accident, leaving large scars that torment her inside. Seeing Koha's pain, Truth decides to save her; she invites Koha to stay at the shop and help her sell shaved ice.
