Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck recently joined the cast of the new film "The Old Man and the Gun," starring Robert Redford and based on an article in The New Yorker. Forrest Tucker has been a criminal since he was a teenager, with bank robbery as his profession. His numerous stints in prison have honed his skills for "escape"— he has escaped from prison 18 times, with the most recent being at the age of 70! "The Old Man and the Gun" focuses on Tucker’s later life and one of his robberies, with Robert Redford playing "Tucker" and Casey Affleck portraying the detective who becomes deeply fascinated by this unique criminal. Additionally, Sissy Spacek, 67, will play the woman who falls in love with the elderly criminal. "The Old Man and the Gun" is directed by David Lowery and distributed by Fox Searchlight, with filming set to begin in Cincinnati on April 3 of this year.
