Formerly renowned agent Yu Meifeng (played by Mao Shunjun) once helped several singers rise to fame but chose to focus on being a good wife and mother after marriage. Seemingly enjoying a blissful marital life, she decides to return to the music industry upon her 17-year-old son's academic advancement. By chance, she meets takeout delivery worker Fang Qing (played by Jiang Tao), who harbors a passionate and talented desire for singing and dancing. This rekindles Meifeng's hope of being an agent, and after officially debuting, Fang Qing skyrockets to fame, while Meifeng also shines in her career. However, her son Zixuan (played by Liu Yingtian) feels anxious about his mother's transformation, exacerbated by his father's sudden departure, testing their mother-son relationship.
