In 1987, ambitious Jack Campbell (Nicolas Cage) bids farewell to his girlfriend Kate (Téa Leoni) and heads to New York alone to make his fortune. Thirteen years later, Jack has become a sought-after investment banker on Wall Street; his career is thriving, his life is luxurious, and he is surrounded by beautiful women, embodying the image of a perfect success. However, just two days before Christmas, Jack's life takes a dramatic turn. When he wakes up, he finds himself back in his family home in New Jersey, with Kate as his wife and two lovely kids. This new and opposing life leaves Jack bewildered, and he must ultimately choose between money and family...
