The film is adapted from the journalistic work of reporter Tatiana Niculescu Bran. The piece tells the story of an elderly nun who died after an exorcism in 2005. In the film, there are two main characters, one named Alina and the other Vikkia. They grew up in the same orphanage. As adults, Vikkia feels that the monastery is her spiritual sanctuary, so she becomes a nun; while Alina goes to Germany. They haven't been in contact for a long time, but their fates are reconnected due to an unexpected event.
