During the late Qing Dynasty, Huang Feihong (played by Wang Qun) became famous in the Foshan area as the heir of Southern Shaolin martial arts. One day, Huang, along with his disciples Liang Kuan (Tan Qiao) and Ya Cha Su (Huang Yishan), went to Guangzhou to pick up Aunt Thirteen (Guo Xiyun) who was returning from America. As they passed by a railway construction site, they unwittingly provoked the foreman, Shiyi Shao, who treated them violently, leading to a dispute. Soon after, Huang intervened to stop Shiyi Shao from causing chaos in the marketplace, escalating their animosity. However, he was still well-loved by the local community, who implored Huang to open a "Baozhilun" to teach students and help the needy. On the opening day, Shiyi Shao sent a lion dance troupe to create chaos and tried to frame Huang with the help of foreigners, but his plans were foiled. As the head of the Guandi Hall, Shiyi Shao, backed by Superintendent He, was secretly involved in trafficking opium and people, seeing Huang as a major threat he urgently wanted to eliminate. Later, upon discovering Huang's connections with anti-Qing rebels, he secretly reported him to the superintendent, leading to Huang's imprisonment and humiliation. The community worked hard to rescue Huang, and when the superintendent, under foreign pressure, reluctantly released him, he ordered Huang and his followers to be expelled from Guangzhou. Feeling unjustly treated, Huang learned of the evidence against Shiyi Shao’s human trafficking while passing through the railway site. To uphold justice and save Ya Cha Su, Huang planned to infiltrate the tiger's den.
