Adapted from the novel of the same name by Erin Doom, directed by Alessandro Genovesi, known for "Marriage Isn't That Male," who also co-wrote the adapted screenplay with Eleonora Fiorini. 　　 　　The story follows Nica, who grew up within the walls of a graveyard orphanage, having heard the legend of a mysterious tear maker many times: it is said that this artisan creates all the fears and anxieties hidden in the human heart. By the age of 17, Nica has long dismissed the tales meant for children, as her greatest dream is about to come true: Mr. and Mrs. Milligan are in the process of adopting her, preparing to give her the long-awaited home. However, she is not the only child in this new home; the restless mysterious orphan Rigel from the graveyard orphanage is the last person Nica wants as a foster brother, yet he comes to this home with her. 　　 　　Rigel is clever and talented, playing the piano with a mesmerizing charm, while his angelic appearance conceals a dark essence inside. Nica and Rigel share the same painful and challenging past, yet they struggle to coexist under the same roof. In fact, kindness and anger are merely different means, both aiming to overcome suffering, strive to survive, and hide the tormenting negative emotions like the legendary tear maker. Faced with the tear maker, lies are futile; they must muster the courage to embrace "love," the powerful force that irresistibly draws them towards each other.
