There is a little elephant who is despised for having particularly large ears. Former circus star Holt (Colin Farrell) takes his two children, Millie (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins), to care for the little elephant, whom they name Dumbo. One day, the father and children are shocked to discover that Dumbo can actually fly. Once the news breaks, citizens rush to buy tickets to the circus to catch a glimpse of this incredible sight, and the circus, which was on the brink of closing down, is revived, making Dumbo an overnight sensation. Businessman Vandevere (Michael Keaton) sees an opportunity in Dumbo and extends an invitation for Dumbo to work at his club. However, Holt soon realizes that Vandevere, while appearing glamorous on the surface, is actually a ruthless capitalist who only cares about money.
