Bai Xiaoyu (played by Qi Xi), a girl from a rural area, is a master's graduate in economic management who applies for an accountant position at the fashion design company S&T. Literary youth Xia Mi (played by Guo Jingfei) studied fashion design in France and has been struggling to find a job after returning to China. He is introduced by his friend Da Bao (played by Wang Yi) to work as a design assistant at S&T.
