The beautiful and young Wen Ailian (played by Zheng Wenyue) has had a rocky road in love. She has had three husbands: movie star Deng Liqing (played by Jiang David), gang leader Tang Derun (played by Wang Qing), and pastor Zhu Jinchun (played by Huang Baiming). However, all three of her husbands have met with untimely deaths, leaving her with a large fortune. Disheartened, Wen learns through fortune-telling that she is fated to bring misfortune to her husbands; she can be a wealthy woman but struggles to be a good wife. The three ghostly husbands, unwilling to see their wife lonely and desolate, decide to find her a suitable partner. Yu Molun (played by Tan Yonglin) and Tan Guan (played by Zeng Zhiwei) are two radio hosts working for a station. They host a midnight show "Midnight Tales" and receive complaints from listeners, resulting in a scolding from the station director. However, Yu Molun catches the eye of the three ghostly husbands, who devise a plan to arrange a meeting between him and Wen…
