Kou Niu (played by Nawarat Techarathanaprasert) is neglected after her parents divorce and has to stay at a relative's house, living a life dependent on others. One day, Kou Niu meets a stray dog that is just as lonely as she is, and kind-hearted Kou Niu takes it in, naming it “Char Siu.” She secretly cares for Char Siu on the rooftop, and a deep friendship forms between the two. Unfortunately, Kou Niu's relatives discover her secret and take Char Siu away. Without Char Siu's companionship, Kou Niu falls back into depression. Unable to suppress her longing for Char Siu, Kou Niu decides to run away from home in search of her friend. Along the way, she meets a flower seller named Ba Jie, and they become friends, making Kou Niu feel less alone. However, she is still worried that Char Siu may forget her.
